Boris Gloger

Boris has worked for very large and very small companies while he was a business Analyst, Project Manager and Trainer.

EDS in Europe and ONE, Austria and Web.de have been his most valuable business experiences: At EDS he learned all about the traditional waterfall spiral model while implementing mainframe applications for General Motors throughout Europe. At ONE he experienced that the traditional model does not work in non stable environments. During his three years in Austria he changed from an CMM evangalist to an Scrum Trainer.

During the last two years he was the Head of Software Factory at Combots, Germany (was Web.de) till he decided to start his second company SPRiNT iT , Germany.

Boris ran the first Scrum Project in Austria, as far as we know, and he became the first European Scrum Trainer. He decided to take the opportunity to follow Ken Schwaber when he saw that Scrum is much more than a methodology. Since 2003 Boris implemented Scrum with small teams, in multi team projects and ran whole departments using Scrum. Now he runs SPRiNT IT using Scrum. On his customer list are all well know companies.

SPRiNT iT is an agile consulting company that runs agile transitions in Europe, USA and Asia.

Boris runs together with Jens Oestergaard the Scrum Trainer Portal: www.Scrumeducation.com. This website brings to the agile community the possibilty to see all agile trainings.

Boris holds a Master in Philosophy and Sociology and studied Physics at the Technical University in Darmstadt, Germany.
